Have you every been to a family gathering or picnic and you asked or heard someone ask “who made the potato salad?” If you have then you know that one inquires for one of two reason. Either it’s is so delicious it passed the unofficial test with flying colors. Or it is to the other extreme. Potato salad is a polarizing dish but if you find the right recipe it can be pleasing to the masses.
There are few dishes that are as synonymous with summer as potato salad. It’s the perfect side dish for barbecue chicken and ribs. But what makes it so good? Is it the dressing? The vegetables or the potatoes? Or is it simply the nostalgia of eating it at your favorite summer gatherings? Whatever the reason, there’s no denying that it is delicious. It’s the perfect combination of flavors and textures, and it’s always a crowd-pleaser.
