Parboiled Rice, Ground Beef, Mild Italian Sausage, Chicken Broth, Onion, Green Bell Pepper, Red Bell Pepper, Celery, Garlic, Paprika, Cayenne Pepper, Thyme,Creole Seasoning,  Black Pepper and Salt

Step 2: Browning the Meat

Using medium heat bring your pan to temperature then add the ground beef and Italian sausage. Season the meat with salt and pepper then continue browning for another 5 minutes.

Step 3: Add the Vegetables

Add the onion, celery, green bell pepper and red bell pepper then continue to cook until the vegetables are translucent. Add the garlic and mix well then cover and allow the meat to simmer for an additional five minutes.

Step 4: Add the Rice

Parboiled rice is rice that has been partially cooked in its husk. This process, known as parboiling, makes the rice easier to digest and more nutritious. Parboiled rice is also less likely to stick together when cooked, making it a good choice for dishes

  • 4 Cups Parboiled Rice

  • 1 lb Ground Beef

  • 1 lb Mild Italian Sausage

  • 1 Cup Chicken Broth

  • 1 Onion

  • 1 Green Bell Pepper

  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper

  • 2 ribs Celery

  • 5 cloves Garlic

  • 1 tsp Paprika

  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper

  • 1/2 tsp Thyme

  • 1 tsp. Creole Seasoning

  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp Salt

Directions
