Ingredients
  

  • 8 chicken legs
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Thoroughly clean and pat dry the chicken legs.
  3. Using a sharp knife, cut a few slits into each chicken leg. This will help the seasoning penetrate better and allow the chicken to cook more evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, parsley flakes, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Place the chicken legs in a large bowl. Drizzle the olive oil over them and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the chicken legs and mix until each leg is thoroughly coated.
  7. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld.
  8. Arrange the chicken legs in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
  9. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 35 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
