Ingredients
- 2 lbs Stew Beef
- 4 Cups Beef Broth
- 5 Tbsps Canola Oil
- 2 Tbsps Cornstarch
- 2 Cups Mushroom
- 1/2 Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 2 Tbsps Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 tsp Browning
- 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 4 Tbsps Water
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Method
- Using medium heat bring a dutch oven to temperature then add the oil.
- Brown your beef.
- Remove the beef from the oven and set it aside.
- Sauté the onions for 4 minutes.
- Add the garlic and continue to sauté for another 3 minutes.
- Add the mushroom and cook for 2 minute.
- Return the beef to the oven then season with the salt and black pepper.
- Add the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and bay leaves then bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium low, cover and cook for 1 hour 40 minutes.
- After an hour and 40 minutes.
- Mix together the cornstarch and water then it to the oven.
- Add the browning and continue to cook until your gravy has thickened then it is ready to serve.
