Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken wings
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning, divided
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, paprika, 1 tsp of the Cajun seasoning, and garlic powder.
  2. Mix until well combined.
  3. Ensure your chicken wings are clean and thoroughly dried.
  4. Place the wings in a large bowl, then sprinkle the baking powder over them.
  5. Add the seasoning mixture to the wings and toss until all pieces are evenly coated.
  6. Place the seasoned wings in the air fryer in small batches, making sure not to overcrowd them.
  7. Set the air fryer temperature to 390°F (200°C).
  8. Cook the wings for 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.
  9. Once cooked, remove the wings from the air fryer and set them aside.
  10. In a small pot over medium heat, melt the butter.
  11. Add the honey and the remaining Cajun seasoning to the pot.
  12. Stir until the ingredients are fully combined and the sauce is smooth.
  13. Place the cooked wings in a large bowl.
  14. Pour the honey Cajun sauce over the wings and toss until each piece is well coated.
  15. Serve the wings hot, and enjoy the sweet and spicy flavor of these crispy honey Cajun wings.
