Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Shrimp
  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornmeal
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Creole seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • Canola Oil

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper, Creole seasoning and garlic powder then whisk until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg.
  3. Dredge the shrimp in the flour and cornmeal mixture, then in the egg mixture and again in the flour cornmeal and mixture.
  4. Place them on a wire rack.
  5. Pre-heat the oil to 350 degrees then fry your shrimp for 2 minutes
  6. After 2 minutes remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel to remove the excess oil.
