Ingredients
- 1 lb Shrimp
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Cornmeal
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Creole seasoning
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Kosher Salt
- Canola Oil
Method
- In a bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper, Creole seasoning and garlic powder then whisk until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg.
- Dredge the shrimp in the flour and cornmeal mixture, then in the egg mixture and again in the flour cornmeal and mixture.
- Place them on a wire rack.
- Pre-heat the oil to 350 degrees then fry your shrimp for 2 minutes
- After 2 minutes remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel to remove the excess oil.
