Ingredients
  

  • 4 Cups Parboiled Rice
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 lb Mild Italian Sausage
  • 1 Cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper
  • 2 ribs Celery
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp. Creole Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt

Method
 

  1. Using medium heat bring your pan to temperature then add the ground beef and Italian sausage
  2. Season the meat with salt and pepper then continue browning for another 5 minutes
  3. Add the onion, celery, green bell pepper and red bell pepper then continue to cook until the vegetables are translucent
  4. Add the garlic and mix well then cover and allow the meat to simmer for an additional five minutes
  5. After five minutes add your rice then season with the cayenne pepper, Creole seasoning, thyme and paprika
  6. Add the chicken stock and mix well cover and allow it to cook for 10 minutes
