Ingredients
  

  • 2 pork chops
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Canola oil for frying

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, and black pepper.
  2. Generously season both sides of the pork chops with the seasoning mixture.
  3. Add the remaining seasoning to the flour and whisk until well combined.
  4. Dip each pork chop into the egg, then dredge it in the seasoned flour.
  5. Place the breaded pork chops on a wire rack.
  6. Heat canola oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. Fry the pork chops for about 7 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
  8. Remove from the pan and serve.
