- 2 pork chops
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Canola oil for frying
Method
- In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, and black pepper.
- Generously season both sides of the pork chops with the seasoning mixture.
- Add the remaining seasoning to the flour and whisk until well combined.
- Dip each pork chop into the egg, then dredge it in the seasoned flour.
- Place the breaded pork chops on a wire rack.
- Heat canola oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the pork chops for about 7 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Remove from the pan and serve.
