Lobster Mac and Cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 1lb Elbow Macaroni
  • 1 lb Shrimp
  • 1/2 lb Lobster (cooked)
  • 1/2 lb Crab meat (cooked)
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 Cup Onion
  • 1 Cup Half and Half
  • 5 Tbsps All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 6oz Gruyere Cheese
  • 6oz Muenster Cheese
  • 6oz Mild Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tsps Salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Add 1 tsp salt to pot of water then bring to a boil. Add the macaroni and cook for 7 minutes stirring frequently. After 7 minutes drain the water then set it aside. Lightly grease a baking dish then add the macaroni. Add 3 Tbsps of butter and mix well. Add the crab, lobster and shrimp. Season with the pepper, Cajun Seasoning, and 1 tsp of salt and mix well.
  3. In a frying pan melt the butter. Sauté the onions for 3 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for an additional minute. Whisk in the flour. Add the half and half and and whisk until well combined. Add the Gruyere, Muenster, and Mild Cheddar cheeses and mix until your cheese has melted. Pour the cheese sauce over the macaroni and mix well. Cover with foil then transfer to the preheated oven and cook for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes remove the foil and continue to cook for an additional 10 minutes then it is ready to serve.
