Ingredients
  

  • 3 Cups Cake Flour
  • 2 1/2 Cups Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Cups Butter
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (package cream cheese)
  • 6 Eggs (large eggs)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Almond Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees
  2. Lightly butter and flour a bundt pan and set it aside until later.
  3. Make sure the eggs, butter and cream cheese are at room temperature before using.
  4. In a bowl sift together the flour and salt.
  5. In a stand mixer, cream together the butter and cream cheese.
  6. Add the sugar, vanilla extract and almond extract. Add the eggs one at a time. Slowly add the flour and mix well.
  7. Add the batter to the bundt pan then transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a toothpick placed near the center of the cake comes out clean.
  8. After removing the cake from the oven, place it on a wire rack to cool for 15 to 20 minutes before attempting to move it from the pan.
