Ingredients
- 2 lbs Green Beans
- 10 Baby Potatoes
- 1 Cup Onion
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 1 pkg Beef Smoked Sausage
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 4 Cups Chicken Broth
- 2 Cups Water
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1- ½ Salt
- 2 Black Pepper
Method
- Using medium heat bring a large pot or dutch oven to temperature.
- Add the Olive Oil to the pot then brown the sausage on both sides. (5 minutes)
- After the sausage is done remove it from the pot and set it aside until later.
- To the same pot, add the onion and garlic and saute for 3 minutes.
- Add the green beans, water and chicken broth.
- Season with the salt, black pepper, onion powder and garlic powder then mix well.
- Cover with the lid and allow the beans to cook for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes add the smoked sausage and potatoes then cook for one hour.
