Ingredients
- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 3 Cups Mild Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Cup Onion
- 1 can Whole Kernel Corn
- 1 can Sweet Peas
- 1 can Stewed Tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp Tabasco Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Canola Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 boxes Jiffy Mix
- 2 Eggs
- 2/3 Cup Milk
Method
- PreHeat Oven to 400 degrees
- Add the oil to the frying pan and sauté the onions for 2 minutes.
- Now add the ground beef. Season meat with salt and pepper then allow meat to brown.
- Add the stewed tomatoes, peas and corn and continue to cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the tabasco sauce and 2 cups of cheese.
- After cheese has melted turn off the heat and set aside.
- In a bowl mix together the jiffy mix, milk, eggs and 1 cup of cheese.
- Place the meat filling in a baking dish then top with the jiffy mix.
- Transfer to the preheated oven and allow it to cook for 20 minutes.
