How to Make the Best Marry Me Chicken

Marry Me Chicken is made with chicken breast that has been thinly sliced and seasoned. Although thighs can be substituted, chicken breast works best. The creamy sauce is made with chicken broth and heavy cream. The combination of seasonings, the aromatic garlic, the parmesan cheese and the sweetness of the sun-dried tomatoes give this dish the flavor that makes it so unforgettable.

What to Do With Leftovers

Storing Your Marry Me Chicken

What’s better than Marry Me Chicken for dinner one day….two days! The leftover chicken can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days and can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 to 4 months.

Reheating Your Marry Me Chicken

When reheating after the chicken has been stored in the refrigerator, you may warm it on the stove top or in the microwave.

When reheating after the chicken has been frozen, thaw the chicken in the refrigerator overnight for best results. Reheat gently on the stovetop over low heat, stirring occasionally to reincorporate the sauce. Adding a splash of extra heavy cream can help restore its creaminess.
